GO-0006 - Gorham 1910 Astor Brite-Cut Punch Ladle Sterling Silver
(or soup ladle as needed) in Gorham Astor pattern introduced in 1910. Sparkling bright cut both down the handle and inside the bowl. Monogrammed with an A. Beautiful soft satin finish, called a butler finish.
The bowl is highly crafted with scallops and beads resembling rolling ocean waves. The center has a bright cut floral bouquet of perhaps narcissus.
A single astor in full bloom adorns the handle tip surrounded by vertical cuts. Then deep cut pinwheels down the handle.
Marked with the lion, anchor, Gorham G, and sterling.
12 inches long, 4 inch wide bowl. 127 grams.
Condition: No damage at all. It is not scratched or worn, just a natural aged patina.
