Early twentieth century Sandwich Glass pattern. Matching pair of mantle or bedroom lamps with hurricane shades and crystals. This Petal & Shell pattern has double rows of beads in each petal. Identified in American and European Pressed Glass in the Corning Museum of Glass by Jane Shadel Spillman, p. 352 as "probably United States ca. 1920-1935" and that is consistent with the style and hardware.
11 3/4 inches tall with the shades on. The bases are 4 1/2 inches across. The shades are blown and definitely old. All the hardware is old and looks to be original. They have cloth cords and plastic plugs. The sockets were made by Arrow, USA.
The twelve crystals are not old. The ones that were on it were the same size and style as these.
Condition: We don't see any chips or cracks. They are in remarkable condition. The insides of the founts are a bit dirty but would have to be taken apart to clean them.
