Haviland Flowers & Seeds
Antique French Limoges at its finest. Haviland and Co blank 7, Flowers & Seeds pattern in gray and Autumn tones with brushed gold. Snow white body that Haviland is known for. Some people call this pattern poppy? To me they look like flowering weeds that have gone to seed.
Partial set includes nine pieces:
4 Dinner Plates 10 1/4"
2 Luncheon Plates 9 1/4"
2 Rim Soup Bowls 10 1/8"
1 Dish 6 1/4", (Could be used as a lemon dish, candy dish, or bone dish.)
The plates and bowls are from London. They actually came from a lady who was going back home to London and didn't want to pay the tax on them. Anyway, they are marked "H&Co L France" with the store mark "Made in France for Bennett Brothers Liverpool, Haviland Limoges."
The little dish is marked Haviland & Co and has an impressed J, maybe the Haviland decorator.
Condition: All are excellent condition. One of the lunch plates has a foot chip as shown. One of the soup bowls has a utensil scratch.
