Haviland Blue Calico
French Limoges service for six with many serving pieces.
Theodore Haviland French Limoges. This set belonged to Jane Appleton Bond 1929-2006, a noted artist of Danville, Virginia. Schleiger #303 shape. Marked "Theodore Haviland Limoges France" with the impressed TH dating these 1903-1925. Pretty pastel calico patch centers.
I believe these are unique as I have never seen a pattern anything like this one, and I have been in the business a very long time. Therefore I would like to keep them together.
Includes six place settings:
- 10" dinner plates
- 9" lunch plates
- 8" salad plates,
- 5" berry bowls
- Tea cups & saucers
Condition: Most pieces look unused but a few show very light use. Only one dinner plate has a small back chip.
Serving pieces include:
- 5 beautiful oval platters in graduated size from 9 to 18 5/8 inches (2 are perfect, 1 has chip on foot, 2 have chip on handles)
- Soup tureen (minor chip on foot)
- Covered vegetable bowl
- Oval vegetable bowl
- Sugar with lid
- Gravy or sauce boat with under plate (tiny chip on plate)
- Butter dish with liner, no lid
